Take a nap.

Things are so different when you have your second baby. With Jaxon, I would lay on the couch, with him on my chest, and take naps when he did. Well, I can’t do that with Carter, because I have another child running around that I need to take care of. When Jaxon went to daycare, he had to take a nap every day. I assumed that when the baby came along, I would get my nap when Jaxon was sleeping. Well, that is not the case. Now that he is home, he will not take a nap for me. I could fight it, and try to make him, but for me, sometimes it’s just not worth the drama that would come from that. I have been lucky that I am not overly fatigued throughout the day. It may be due to the fact that I rarely sit down. I feel like I am cleaning all day, so I just don’t sit down and watch TV. The few times that I have done this, I get really tired, and can barely keep my eyes open.

Today, Jaxon is going to Vacation Bible School. My plan is to start reorganizing some areas in my house while he is not around. I just finished a good book about organization. I will touch on this in a later post. Anyway, I may just need to sneak in a nap sometime today or at least lay down in my bed and watch TV. I definitely could use some relaxation.
