Last week I mentioned a spur of the moment sweater refashion. My procrastination paid off this time as I still had a bag of old clothes to take to Goodwill. I dug through it, and pulled out this sweater that is not flattering and had a big hole in the armpit.
I chopped the arms off, cut down the middle, and added a couple of vintage buttons.
Cute? No? I wore it twice last week.
I’m enjoying this refashioning so much, that I would love to do one once a week, and share it with you all. Yay? Nay?
In other projects, I also made this large bag for my friend’s mom for Mother’s Day.
Can’t wait to hear if she loved it.
Off to burn some calories while the youngest is snoozin’. Oh, and property taxes are due today. Yuck, there goes a chunk of money. Oh well.
Hoping your week is off to a great start! Bye All!

First time here, found you over at Skip to My Lou. Super cute! I love refashioning clothes. I would love any more refashioning posts for sure. Good job.
That came out great! How did you go about ‘holding’ the stitches so they didn’t unravel when you cut?
The sweater is great! Love the button detail.
I have a weekly Thursday blog party especially for people to share things they’ve made to be worn. Stop by if you’d like!
that sweater vest is really cute. nice job.
I’d love to have this linked to my weekly link party “Make my Style Mondays”
