I finally have a completed project to share with you. Can I get a hip hip hooray? A few months ago I happened upon this cart, in all of its water stained dusty goodness.

cartI lived with the red for way too long. I threw a piece of burlap across the top in order to camouflage the red. Yeah, that didn’t really work. I think I was waiting on my husband to take it apart for me, so I could spray paint it white. I finally took matters into my own hands and whipped this baby into shape.

cart4Now I have a nice little server in my dining room. I didn’t want anything too bulky since space is limited.

cart1

I wanted a place to display some of my fun little finds.

cart2A place for dishes that may never get used, but I’m living in hopes that since they’re now accessible, I may have a group of friends over for coffee and crumb cake.

cart3

A place for cake plates that get used more than you would think. Birthdays come back around faster than you can imagine, and hubby’s  surprise visits to Panera require a prominent place for those scrumptious cinnamon bagels.

I’m off to pick up tuxes for my handsome men. Oh, and I found a dress yesterday, but now need shoes. Ta Ta Lovies!
