I am not going to throw myself under a bus and actually show you a picture of Jaxon’s room. You would be horrified and probably turn me into the clutter authorities or something. But, if you would like to call Vern from HGTV or better yet Candice, then that is fine. Basically, he has WAY too many toys, and he is super good at making messes. All of those tiny little people that poke holes into your feet when stepped on, and cars, oh and now Lego’s. It’s just crazy, and we did take a whole load down into the basement right before Christmas, but it’s still horrific.
An article on BHG caught my eye this morning, and I thought it just might have the solution I was so desperately needing. Needless to say, it was a bit of a disappointment. Where are the rooms with actual toys? I mean, lots of toys. I guess they’re all in their super cool toy room. Eventually, we will have a toy room in our basement. That day cannot come soon enough.
Here are some ideas that are not super practical for me, but still caught my eye.

This is every child’s dream.

I LOVE this idea. And, isn’t it so creative that it functions as the window panel as well?

I wouldn’t classify this room as having a bunch of “kid clutter”, but it is just way too cute not to share.

This is a pretty good idea, and could work on the top shelf of Jaxon’s closet. You can get great little storage baskets like these at Dollar Tree.

This is just beautiful, and has given me an idea for our unfinished bonus room above our garage. If you have time, check out the whole nursery here. It’s so serene.
I hope this has given you some inspiration for the day.
