Yesterday, my mom and I ran and ran and ran with this little guy.
We checked out a fun consignment shop with funky retro furniture. Squatty little chairs that would be fabulous if recovered and diner style tables and chairs. We left empty handed, but we weren’t done yet. We moved on to an antique mall and scoured booths while taking turns holding Carter. I found a cute little end table that will need to be repainted. Hobby Lobby was our last stop, and now I have some exciting little projects to get working on. I hope to post them soon.
Jaxon hung out with daddy and had a special day.
He helped Marty tile the back splash (pictures soon). And, I swear he grew an inch while I was gone. Sometimes I just can’t believe how old he is getting.
I’m loving the spring like weather today. Makes me want to conquer the basement or wash the windows. Instead I think I will just sit back and relax for a bit, because I know the moment I get into the middle of it, Carter will wake up, and the fun will be over. Enjoy the final hours of your weekend!
… Or the minute you get done doing something like cleaning the windows… rain, sleet, and/or snow will hit and make a mess of all of your hard work!!
