Happy Monday! Can you believe the heat? It’s definitely beginning to feel like summer in these parts. I love the warm weather but despise the lethargy and headaches that seem to come with it. Anyway, I wanted to show you how my $10 shutters turned out.

I’m quite pleased with these two additions. I just spray painted them to my heart’s desire.

I love how they draw the eye up towards the vaulted ceiling.

shutters3These shelves are a work in progress. I’m slowly going to pick up new accessories here and there and hopefully achieve a balanced look someday. It’s hard to fill the shelves, but not overcrowd the shelves. Do any of you have a similar issue?

Well, I have a yard to water. Until tomorrow, ta ta!

I love the shutter look! I’ve passed a thrift store several times this week near my house that has some old shutters out front…hmm….
