I’ve always quietly dreamt of living in an old school house or church. We almost ended up in a barn turned house a few years back. But, the heating bills would have surely killed us, so I’m glad they didn’t budge on their price. And, here we are now, in a 2 year old brand spankin’ new home. Who do you think won that battle? Nah, I eventually caved, and I love my home, but deep down I have secret cravings for something truly old. So, today I wanted to share with you this amazing old school house.

Can you say adorable? I just want to put it in my pocket and carry it around all day with me.

This house was listed for a mere $30,000.  They turned something unloved, into something a.maz.ing.

There are no closets, so built-in drawers were added. What a sun shiny room!

I would never know how to mix this much pattern and do it right. Well obviously they did it right. I mean Country Living wouldn’t publish something distasteful now, would they?

I can’t believe how coordinated this house is. But, I suppose when you’re only in 900 sq. feet, it’s really best to keep things flowing smoothly.

I believe I’ve featured this room before. I just love it. Who would’ve thought that a hot pink lamp would work in here? Well, obviously the homeowners did, but anybody else? I didn’t think so.

Head on over to Country Living to see the rest of the house.

It’s so darn cute!! I love the built-ins in the bedroom. That would be my dream house if I lived alone. ;) We knew a guy once when I was a kid who was building a house in an old country church. :)
