On Mother’s Day, my boys got me lots of flowers. Okay, so I sortof asked for some, because we were having company later on, and my flowers from the woods were looking very sad. I wasn’t expecting the plethora they delivered though. Two bouquets were a wildflower mix, and these lovelies were just what I had been secretly craving.
I’ve been seeing tulips all over blog land, and oh I’ve been wanting some. My man must be catching on to my new style around this here house.
I’m not really a big rosy bouquet kinda girl. I even threw a rose away. Gasp. I prefer cutting and placing in little glasses or vases around the house.
I placed some in a special little treasure that deserves a post of its own in a few days. Stay tuned. It’s too cute to miss.
I snuck a few into the boys bathroom to girly it up a bit, and replaced the ones in my margarita mixer on the table.
I also received some phlox that I planted on our mound by the pond, and a lilac bush. I can’t wait to bring in fresh cut lilacs next year.
How was your Mother’s Day? I would love to hear what your husband littles delivered.

They did good!!
I got a very nice card, and I’m still waiting on my gift b/c it was slightly unconventional…have to see if the possibility will work out or not.
