Shortly after Christmas, I created this clutch with my new machine.
I was hoping it would be suitable enough to sell, but found it to be a lot less than perfect. Now, I have a great little handbag to run to on date night.
Going from one machine to the next has such a different feel. I still have a lot to get used to. It’s a lot like switching vehicles. For instance, when we drove down to Florida this fall, I helped drive, and I think at moments my husband thought I was never going to stop. I know my car, we were in his truck, and I really had to get used to the feel of the pedal. Luckily, I never got us into an accident.
My machine also embroiders, so I created my own little tags. So professional, right? I picked up a load of fabric last week, and am getting ready to start whipping up some bags once I finish a custom order. Which, in fact, I need to work on at this moment while Carter is still napping.
