The next little project I made, I learned about at MOPS. I’d like to take a quick second to encourage you to look for a MOPS location in your area. It’s fun and gives me the adult interaction that I so desperately need. It gives me a reason to take a shower before noon at least twice a month. Don’t know what MOPS is or want to find one in your area? Check it out here.

Gift #3: Busy Tins

dsc_0814

These are a great tool to keep in the car or in your purse. When boredom hits, you might be able to distract with these little tins. If your kids don’t know the alphabet, you could always make magnets with your child’s favorite character’s etc… on them.

Supplies Needed:

Coffee Tins

Magnet Strips

Magazines

Scrapbook Paper

Mod Podge

Cover tins with scrapbook paper using Mod Podge. Cut out letters from old magazines and place them on the adhesive side of the magnets.  And, that’s it!

Check back in tomorrow for Gift #4.
