I know, I said no more mouse stories. But, just this last one. Yesterday was trash day. I was walking out to our trash can, and something caught my eye. Probably just a toad, I thought. I began to pull the trash can away, and to my horror, a mouse ran out from under it. Then, our eyes locked, for what seemed like 10 minutes. I froze, not knowing if I should go on with what I was doing or try to kill it myself. I decided on neither and took off running, no sprinting like I was Michael Johnson in gold Nike’s. As I was running to the door, I honestly wondered if the little mouse could be chasing me. This is when I think God may have chuckled.
I told Marty in a hysterical out of breath voice, and actually, he chuckled. He did what any brave husband would do. He went out to conquer the creature. And he did.
Bedtime came, and all I could think about were mice roaming around my house. I felt like I was hearing them prance on my counter-tops. To get my mind off of this, I remembered the beautiful Vera Wang dresses that I had been looking at earlier in the evening. All of this nonsense to tell you to browse her gowns. They make my heart pitter patter. She is such an artist.
Seriously, is your pulse racing? The layering and the ruching, pure perfection!

Thank you, Vera Wang, for helping me sleep.
