On Saturday, I hosted a Mary Kay party at my home. I had a consultant come and give me a free facial the previous week and fell in love with the products. Going into it, I told myself that I wouldn’t host a party, but I caved. No, I shouldn’t say caved like I was forced. It really is great stuff. The consultant told me that your face starts aging at 15. Well, I am 10 years behind! The Mary Kay skincare line is age defying, so hopefully it will pay off.
Only 4 people came to my party, but I ended up getting all of my products at 50% off. Granted, I still spent way too much. I keep telling myself that I deserve it, and refuse to tell my husband how much I spent. I love trying new products. Sephora is a very dangerous store for me to go in, and I make myself not step foot in that store. I just can’t get enough of all of the pretty packaging and beautiful colors.
Find a local beauty consultant, and host a party so that you can get free or discounted products. Even if you don’t want to have a party, see if you can get a free facial. You are worth it!
