On Friday, I was able to go shopping all by myself. It’s a nice feeling to look at whatever you want without the feeling of a bored husband or impatient children. I took my time to mosey around the stores and pick stuff up to try on. I bought the above items on 2 different trips this weekend. I bought the skirt, dress, tank, sandals, and purse when I was by myself. The purse is from Kohls, and the rest are from Target. I was in the mood to go shopping because, for one, I had gift cards, and I also lost 4 lbs. in 3 days last week. I will write about this in my next post. Now, my second shopping experience was on Saturday when my husband and I went on a date. I have this guilt when we are in stores, and he makes me feel like I am taking too long. I didn’t even feel like I could try anything on, so I bought the scarf and 2 necklaces from Forever 21. My husband does tell me that I can take my time, but he also says in the same sentence that he absolutely hates shopping. That’s when the guilt floods in even though he reassures me a million times that I can take more time. For me, I just enjoy myself so much more when I can look at everything without anyone needing a diaper change or needing to go down the toy aisle. See if you can fit a little shopping trip in this week, even if it is just to the grocery store.
