For all of you who keep telling me how crafty and creative I am, let me reiterate that I don’t come up with much on my own. Those  people, the ones that conjure up a craft in their head, those are the creative ones. I’m just a copy cat.

But, hold up! This just might be the first craft that I made up all on my own. It’s pretty simple, but nonetheless, I’m sort of proud of it. I now give you, the giant clothespin.

I stumbled upon this at Hobby Lobby. And, who can pass up a giant clothespin? I mean, come on, all the possibilities.

I used mod podge to adhere the scrapbook paper to the wood. I didn’t even bother with covering the sides. I personally, don’t mind the natural wood look, but it would also be very cute painted. This project took about 5 minutes, and now my window sill has a little extra personality.

I don’t generally cook off of recipe cards, so this card will probably be replaced with an inspirational quote or verse. The more I think about it, this is a great tool for memorizing Scripture. I stand at the sink all too often during the day, and why not work my brain while washing bottles and bowls.

There are also extra gigantic clothespins that would be very cute in a laundry room. My brain is working away at coming up with something cute for one of those. I’m drawn to anything that makes me feel like I am in Honey I Shrunk the Kids. You all know how cool that movie was, and how you secretly wished that you were one of those kids.

Hollywood Studios has an amazing playground built around this movie.

Back to reality, I have lots of cleaning to do today.

Please feel free to send me pics of your crafts, and I will be glad to include them in a post. I love to see what other crafters are coming up with.
