Remember that photography session I talked about a while back? I’m finally getting around to letting you in on the session. I’ve already dusted these into a few posts here and there, so don’t be surprised that you’ve seen some already.
Furore Photography, is a husband and wife team, comprised of Scott and Annie. To be honest with you all, Scott is my brother, so I am especially partial. But, I think you will also agree that these pictures turned out great.
Their photography definitely has that “cool factor” that I was looking for.
I think this picture might be great in our bedroom. Try not to stare at my freakishly curved out legs. Is that normal? I didn’t think so.
This is my favorite of the boys together. They did an amazing job with our kids! It’s hard enough to get one kid to cooperate, let alone two. Annie put herself out there and wasn’t afraid to act like a goof. I love that about her.
We’ve all wanted to play “model” at some point in our life. This was that shot.
We couldn’t hold the straight face any longer, so we let it fly. And, yeah, we really are that in love.
All of these, except the first, which was shot in our house, were shot right across the street from our house at an abandoned barn.
A skilled photographer will be willing to throw his body on the ground just so he can get that perfect shot.
Next, we wandered into town and shot these amazing photos. I just love this one!
Jaxon was being a little ornery at this point. But, I love that little flicker is his eye. Are you all still with me?
Now, a little bit about our outfits. I was really uncertain about what I wanted our “look” to be. I actually found an amazing post about family photography sessions and copied a family’s “look”.It wasn’t identical by any means, but it gave me a starting point. It’s the same concept as looking through decorating magazine’s and trying to recreate a room. I’m going to try to start doing this more with my fashion.
Steal my heart and twist me into knots, my man really cleans up nice. And I was so excited to get him into that jacket! Yowza’s!
We had to have an alley shot, and although this was an unplanned picture, I love the way it turned out. It’s more of a picture of our every day life. Half on sweatshirts, and a mama who’s constantly picking up stuff whether it be a child or a load of laundry. A dad who stands tall, and holds the family up and leads us down the alley that is life. I think I just made this my favorite picture, because of the analogy that I will now think of every time I look at this.
Lastly, we made our way back to our house and took a romantic picture on our putting green. Every girls dream come true. I kid, but really it’s adorable and will without a doubt, make its way into my husband’s future office. And, last night, a raccoon got into our house and unrolled all of the toilet paper in the bathroom. Just making sure you’re still listening. {hehe}
And, how cute it this? He’s quite the budding golf pro.
Alright, I am done. There are more, but maybe I’ll do another post someday, once you recover from this one.
Please, go to Furore Photography and check out lots of other pictures. If you are local, consider them for your next session. And if you are a million miles away, and you live near the beach, I don’t even want to hear about it, but please do use their pictures for inspiration.
Oh, and please enter my giveaway!
There aren’t too many entries yet, so your chances are pretty good.
Working on a new bag made out of the ticking that I made the rosette with. Bye gals!
