Okay, so this is totally two months ago, but I’m going to share it anyway.

For Christmas I made one of my sweetest little nieces a  floor cushion.

Something she can tote around and read books on.

If I remember correctly, I started this the day before I needed to gift her with it. So, I’m going to say that my resolution to stop procrastinating did not come to fruition this past year.

Darn.

dsc_0351This was my first project with piping, and I was very thankful that it was as easy as it seemed.

I got the awesome tutorial for this over at Living with Punks.

She has the cutest tutorials! You really should check her out!

dsc_0350Maybe someday I’ll actually get around to making something fun and cute like this for my own children.

Like maybe before they’re 16.

Maybe.

P.S. Check out her new grown-up version! So pretty!

I love this! My mom made us something like this when my sister and I were little and they were are favorite thing! We always were using them as I’m sure your niece is too!
