Carter is really starting to enjoy being carried around in this Snugli. But, oh my, it hurts my back! My shoulders feel like somebody took my muscles, tangled them up, and then hit them with a large sledge hammer. I keep doing it, because I can get so much more done this way. I bought this carrier when I had Jaxon. With Jaxon, I sat around so much more. So, when he was crying, I would just hold him. With Carter, I have so much more to do around the house, and I have another child to take care of, so I need my hands free. I feel like a new carrier is in the works. I can’t take this pain. Stephanie from Adventures in Babywearing recommended the Mei Tai. I looked into them yesterday and fell in love with the Baby Hawk Mei Tai’s. They definitely look more comfortable and the fabrics are to die for.

You can also design your own, and there are tons of fabrics to choose from. They are also reversible, so you can use two different fabrics for your ever changing mood. I love these fabrics.

If I ever do design my own, it will take me ages to pick my fabrics. There are also fabulous florals. I’m leaning more toward geometric since I have a little boy. Check out the site, and you too will be in love.

I resist going to the Baby Hawk site because I would be too tempted!!! I’ve never had one but a friend has one with the minky inside and it is GORGEOUS! I do love mei tais!
